Winter Oil Painting Frosty Morning Impressionist Landscape

sold
"Frosty Morning"
6x6" Oil on primed art board

Painting winter landscapes can get challenging due to the lack of color from summer and fall.  There is also the challenge of many overcast days.  Sometimes you have to dig deeper to notice the subtle beauty.  Such as the softened glow across a snowy field.

Your work is so great. Do you have a list of palette colors you generally use? Your sense of color and composition is obviously a natural gift!
