"Barn at Dusk" The sun is about to slip below the horizon taking the colors with it. (The texture is due to the gessoed surface beneath the paint) This painting is 6"x6" oil on board.
I just purchased a set of watercolors on a whim & your profile caught my eye...you try to paint everyday! I love it! I can't wait to look through your work...I love the barn already!
Hi, and welcome! I love to paint and it takes a bit of discipline to paint everyday. I am a wife and mother of 4 children (3 teenagers and a toddler, yes a toddler:) The last year has been a busy one with a move and an addition to our family, the dust is settling and I am back in my studio, most days only during baby's naptime.
On this blog you will find my inspirations, and my humbling attempts to grasp the essence of God's beauty. Whether it be a field ready for harvest, the sunkissed cheeks of a child, the ever changing clouds in the heavens or everyday things that go unnoticed in the blink of an eye.
So please stop by and see what I am up to.
